How is Foursquare Responding?
A Relief
and Compassion Ministry Team was in Haiti from February 2-6. Please pray for continued wisdom, resources, safety, etc.
-The Foursquare Relief and Compassion team is already mobilizing personnel. In the weeks
and months ahead we will need medical teams, construction teams, and ministry teams; we need your help.
-We are making preparations to set up a base camp in Port-au-Prince for our long-term
response (this is our greatest need).
-This will include the
purchase of:
o Food,
water, and shelter for those who have been displaced
o
Trucks, motorcycles, and other vehicles
o
Building supplies and equipment
o
Medical care and supplies
o
Personnel and housing
Our initial need for the first phase was $250,000. We have met our first phase
goal! Thank you!!
We currently
raising funds for our second and third phases. Our cash goal
is $1.2 million and $3 million in donated labor and supplies.
Donations needed for Haiti (New and like new):
- 2 - 15 passenger vans. They need to be in excellent condition
(if used), fairly new with some warranty left.
- 3 - “Enduro” type motorcycles
- 2 –
Extended Cab 4x4 Pick Up Trucks
- 1 - Skid-steer (also known as Bobcat)
- 1 – Forklift
- 1
– Track-hoe with scoops and thumbs
- 1 – Mini Track-hoe
